About AOL Voice Services

AOL’s voice team is a small focused group of technical folks devoted to developing voice-related services. We’re based in Halifax, on Canada's east coast.

We developed AOL’s first family of voice services, AOL Call Alert, AOL Voicemail and AOLbyPhone for AOL’s access customers.

Now we’ve launched AIM Call Out – a Voice over IM (VOIM) service that offers awesome long distance rates to anyone with a free AOL or AIM screen name anywhere in the world.
